Merchant Fee Schedule

This page sets out the fees Mind Fractal Media Inc. ("MindFractal") charges businesses that accept card payments through a MindFractal platform. It forms part of the Merchant Terms of Service at mindfractal.ai/merchant-terms.
All amounts are in United States dollars (USD).
Processing fee

That is 2.5% of the full amount your customer pays, charged once per successful payment.
There is no monthly fee, no account fee, no setup or onboarding fee, no minimum, and no fee for payments that fail or are declined.
Example. A customer pays $249.00. The processing fee is $6.23.
Pass-through fees
These are charged to MindFractal by the payment processor or the card networks as a result of activity on your account, and are passed to you at cost. MindFractal adds no margin to them.

Disputes. When a cardholder disputes a payment through their bank, the card network charges a fee whether or not the dispute is ultimately decided in your favour. You are also responsible for the disputed amount itself, as set out in the Merchant Terms of Service.
Dispute inquiries. Some banks raise an inquiry before a formal dispute. This carries the same fee even if it never becomes a dispute.
PCI compliance. Card network rules require you to complete a PCI Self-Assessment Questionnaire within 90 days of your account being approved, and once a year after that. It is short and you complete it yourself from your dashboard. If it goes overdue, the fee above applies every month until it is done. Completing it on time costs nothing.
What MindFractal absorbs
The following are charged to MindFractal and are not passed to you:
- Monthly active merchant fees
- Merchant onboarding and account setup fees
- Settlement and payout transfer fees
- Payment instrument tokenization fees
Refunds
If you refund a customer, the refunded amount is returned to them in full.
The processing fee charged on the original payment is not returned to you. This is standard across the payments industry and reflects that the cost of processing the original payment has already been incurred.
When fees are charged
Processing fees are deducted at settlement. Pass-through fees are charged when the underlying event occurs and are deducted from your next settlement, or invoiced if your settlement balance is insufficient.
All fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes.
Changes to this schedule
MindFractal will give thirty (30) days' written notice to the email address on your account before any change to these fees takes effect.
Not covered by this schedule
This page covers payment processing fees only.
Any revenue share, licence fee, or other commercial arrangement between you and MindFractal is governed by your separate agreement with us and is not part of this schedule.
